In order to maintain a safe, comfortable environment, we do require all pets to be current on age appropriate vaccinations and to wait at least 48 hours after shots before checking in. The waiting period helps to ensure your pet isn’t sore at the injection site, which can cause irritability or lethargy.
Puppies and kittens between 8 weeks and 4 months of age may receive services in the without vaccinations.
For dogs and cats over the age of 4 months, we require the following vaccinations:
DPP (Distemper/Parvo) – 1 – 3 year vaccination
Rabies – 1-3 year vaccination
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) – current within the last 6 months *Please note, many veterinarians administer this vaccine only by request and may only include the vaccination as part of your pet’s yearly vaccinations. To ensure the safety of our guests, we require the vaccination be current within 6 months.
If you don’t have a copy of your immunization records but have your vet’s contact information, we can call and obtain the current records for you or you may have the records faxed to us at (888) 908-3046 or emailed at info@affinityretreat.com.
